Blood Clot

Blood clots are made up of little particles called platelets and a meshwork of protein strands, called fibrin. Clots in arteries have a different composition than clots in veins. Blood clots are healthy and lifesaving when they stop bleeding. But they can also form when they aren’t needed and cause a heart attack, stroke.
